Order Policies

VSN pricing and shipping policies: You can order online by credit card using the Online Shopping Cart or you order by check via mail (address below.) Orders cannot be placed by phone.

Issues Shipped Within the US:

1 - 4 issues = $4 each;
5 -39 issues = $3 each (25% off!);
40 or more issues= $2 each (50% off!);
*In Maryland, add 6% Sales Tax to your total.

For these quantity discounts, all copies must ship to same address at the same time. Issues purchased via credit card usually ship within 48 hours unless I have a question about your order. Allow 5-6 weeks for mail orders paid by check.

VSN Collector Ordering OPTION:

Want all the issues from a given year? You can now order VSN issues BY YEAR (2010 issues all the way back to 1997; because some issues from '93, '94, '95 and '96 are out of print, those years are not available by year.) Price varies by year and country, so see the Online Shopping Cart for pricing/ordering.

Canada:

Issue = $4 US funds. (Also see VSN Collector Ordering Option Above.) Prices include First Class or Priority shipping to Canada. (Visa/MC/Discover, Check drawn on US bank or international/US money order.) No Paypal. Please note that while single issues usually cross the border fairly speedily, packages can be delayed by Canadian Customs and Customs may add extra fees. This is beyond VSN's control.

Overseas:

Issue = $6 US funds. (Also see VSN Collector Ordering Option Above.) Prices include shipping to addresses outside the US and Canada. (Visa/MC/Discover, Check drawn on US bank or international/US money order.) No Paypal. Please note that while single issues usually move reasonably quickly, packages can sometimes be delayed by Customs. Your country's Customs may add extra fees. This is beyond VSN's control.

Mailing Method:

Orders of just a few issues are mailed via first class US mail. (Even 1st class mail can take a couple weeks.) Orders of more than a few issues are mailed via Priority mail.

Address Changes:

VSN ships to the address you provide. If your address changes, please provide your name, old address, new address and effective date of address change. Because VSN is mailed via First Class mail, your issue should follow you if your first class mail is forwarded. The post office forwards mail for several months, but don't wait to send your address change! Eventually they return your magazine with "forwarding time expired" . . . or the new occupant gets it! VSN is not responsible for lost issues if you have not provided the current address.

Payment Method:

Visa/MC/Discover, US Checks or Money Orders. No Paypal. I don't encourage people to send cash. If you must mail coins, tape them to an index card so they are not loose. Loose coins tear through envelope folds and get lost. Please do not ask me to bill you or to take a postdated check. If you want to use a credit card for payment you must either use VSN's Online Shopping Cart or use one of VSN's print-and-mail order forms (at left.). Credit card orders cannot be placed via email, over the phone or without a signed official VSN order form.
