VSN Stamping Basics

VSN is a monthly print magazine that typically goes into stamp related topics in a lot of depth. But many VSN articles assume that you know some stamping basics like types of stamps, the parts of a stamp, how to do basic stamping on paper, how to heat emboss and something about different art supplies like inkpads and coloring mediums.

This page is being developed for beginning stampers who need a little of these basics. I plan to add more basics articles in the future. I am interested in hearing suggestions for beginning stamping topics to add to this page in the future (Contact). Where a topic has already been covered in a past VSN issue in depth, I do not plan to repeat it here. (All back issues are still available.) So most articles on this page will be fairly short, will cover the basics and then will point you to past VSN issues where you can find more in-depth information.
